Mommy and I really love Dr. Seuss' The Lorax. In fact, it may be our favorite bedtime story. So we were really excited to see that they were making it into a film coming out this Spring. Getting invited to a special sneak peek of movie this afternoon was just icing on the cake! We asked Sabrina to come along with us to the screening and the afterparty, where the Lorax himself was the guest of honor!

Laced up the skates, snapped on my helmet, and hit the ice today for my very first hockey lesson. It's only a matter of time until the Rangers call me up to the NHL (or the Capitals if Mom has her way). Mom wasn't so happy that we were skating on Trump's ice, but you couldn't beat the setting, and the right on-cue snow flurries made it the perfect first lesson.
We took our first field trip of the year to the Museum of Modern Art this week. We studied "gestures" in different art forms — a Picasso painting and some sculptures — and even created some of our own. It was quite a cultured day!
